I've organised fees to offer the widest access to my services. Those with broader shoulders support low fee work and administration.

My standard fees for 50 minutes sessions range between:

  • Online |  £80 - £110

  • In-person |  £90 - £130

  • Block fees | £100 per session, for Time-limited work.

Please ask about reduced fees, if this applies. These are negotiated individually.

If you are on very low income or, as is common place, on state support I can suggest you contact Highgate Counselling Centre or we can discuss the Reduced Fee Service at Number 42. These services are supported by supervised trainee therapists as well as by qualified volunteer therapists. Fees for both are negotiated individually in reference to your financial circumstances. In both cases there is likely to be a waiting list.

Initial online assessments are charged at £80, in-person £90-£100

It is on the basis of the initial assessment consultation and subsequent sessions that we can both decide whether working together would be beneficial. We can also think about whether joining a therapeutic group would be a preferred treatment for you.

I offer two contracts which will be agreed upon jointly during the first few sessions:

  • Time-limited: 12 to 16 weeks, focused on a single issue.

  • Open-ended: Ongoing therapy. A minimum of four weeks notice of termination is required, for therapeutic reflection.

The content of our work is confidential. There are, however, some exceptions:

  • I may discuss work with a supervisor to ensure good practice.

  • I would be required to provide copies of case notes or to appear in person if ordered to do so by a Judge.

  • I am also obliged to report the following to the appropriate authorities:
    Current child abuse including paedophilia.
Threats of deliberate harm against the life of another person or to oneself

       Threats to commit terrorist acts

I practice under a code of ethics regulated by the BACP, current details of which can be obtained from their website.
